EV Energy Ratings

EVER Welcome

Welcome to the Energy Vanguard Energy Ratings (EVER) homepage. We are a RESNET accredited Home Energy Rating Provider as of April 2009. We have several raters going through the certification process and are accepting applications from prospective raters. If you've successfully completed a rater training course and are looking for a provider, please contact us and we'll send you the EVER application packet. These documents explain EVER's policies and procedures, including all the steps you need to take to get certified.

The states we operate in are:

 Alabama North Carolina
 Georgia South Carolina
 Kentucky Tennessee
 Louisiana Texas
 Mississippi Virginia

If you're not in one of these states but want EVER to be your provider anyway, please contact us to discuss the situation.

If you're interested in becoming a certified home energy rater but have not gone through a rater training program yet, download the document "What and How of Becoming a Rater" from the RESNET home page and then register for a class with a RESNET accredited training provider. If you're in the Southeast, we recommend the Southface Energy Institute, where Energy Vanguard's president, Allison Bailes, teaches the course with Southface Director of Technical Services Mike Barcik.

With all the emphasis on weatherization and energy efficiency at the national level now, it's a great time to be in the home energy rating industry!
