Energy Vanguard is looking for an experienced HVAC designer. If you have strong technical skills and are interested in working for a leader in the field of high performance residential buildings, we’d love to hear from you.
To succeed in this role, you will have:
- Desire to learn, ability to overcome obstacles, and positive attitude
- Technical aptitude, including good math skills
- Science, engineering, or design background
- Good computer skills
You’ll need these essential skills:
- Reading plans and specifications
- CAD, SketchUp, or similar drawing tools
- Understanding of the principles of building science
- Construction and HVAC knowledge
- Familiarity with RightSuite Universal or other HVAC design software
In this position, you will:
- Work with clients to deliver outstanding mechanical designs
- Analyze building plans and specifications
- Enter building data into HVAC design software
- Provide support in other areas when needed
- Work out of our Decatur, GA office
