My Northeast Building Science Book Tour
I’ll be hitting the road with a car full of books in a couple of days. I’m heading out for a building science book tour of the Northeast. My first book tour event is in Rochester, New York next Tuesday, and the last will be about two weeks later in Halifax, Nova Scotia. Here’s the list:
Rochester, NY on Tuesday, 25 July. This will be an evening talk, Q&A, and book signing. And yes, I’ll have books for sale, too. Click the link for full details. Please register today if you intend to show up. Otherwise, they might not have enough pizza for you. And hey, it’s free!
New Paltz, NY on Thursday, 27 July. A daylong workshop in the Hudson Valley where I cover as much of my book as I can in one day. The session is approved for 6 BPI CEUs, and I’ll be selling and signing books. Again, please register right away. There aren’t many tickets left, and they’ll be closing registration a couple days before the event. There’s a fee to attend, but for $28.75, you’re not going to find a better value for building science education—and 6 BPI CEUs!
Westford, MA on Monday, 31 July. A book signing on the first day of Building Science Summer Camp, my favorite event of the year.
Halifax, NS on 9 August. After a private training for a Nova Scotia company the day before, I’ll be doing an evening talk, Q&A, and book signing (and selling) at the library on 9 August. This one’s still nearly three weeks away, but you know the drill: Please register soon. It’s free, so there’s no reason no to do it now.
In addition to speaking and selling and signing books, I’ll be getting to see some nice high-performance homes, new and retrofit, and maybe even a factory tour or two. That part of the trip kicks off with a stop at Bill Spohn’s new modular home with a CERV-2 ventilation and indoor air quality system.
Not in the Northeast? I’m planning a similar book tour across the Southeast in October & November. We already have one event scheduled in Dallas, Texas. I’m one of about four speakers at a daylong building science workshop. You can register for that one already. The fee is $75 now but rises to $100 after 15 September.
I hope to see you somewhere along the way if you’re near any of the places I’m going!
