Dr. Allison Bailes, president and founder of Energy Vanguard, will be in New England in mid-May and will give a talk in Portland, Maine in the evening of 21 May. The topic will be Naked People Need Building Science and will be a wide-ranging discussion of topics in building science.
The venue will be Maine Green Building Supply (111 Fox Street, Portland, ME 04101), which is known among green building and building science pros in the area as the site of the monthly Building Science Discussion Group. One of the results of their discussions is the concept of the Pretty Good House, which may also come up in Dr. Bailes’s talk.
Although knives or fire will probably not be involved, Dr. Bailes has been known to include juggling in his talk.
If you’re interested in being a sponsor for the talk, please contact Steve Konstantino of Maine Green Building Supply.
Stay tuned. More details will be released next month.
