Dr. Bailes to Give Keynote Speech at Texas Utility Conference

Energy Vanguard’s president, Dr. Allison Bailes, will be giving a keynote speech at the spring meeting of the Texas Public Power Association. The conference is Thursday and Friday, 21-22 March 2013, in Dallas, Texas, and Dr. Bailes’s talk will be on Friday morning from 10:15 to 11:15.

The title of the talk is:

With all the the talk of fracking for natural gas and the Internation Energy Agency (IEA) predicting that the US will become the world’s largest oil producer by 2020 and energy independent by 2030, Dr. Bailes will add some perspective to the discussion. He will look at the big picture of energy use and point out some of the interconnections between our many sources and uses of energy.

If you cannot be at this meeting, Dr. Bailes will be an invited speaker on 3 April at the Structural Insulated Panel Association conference in Tucson, Arizona. Look for more details about that soon.
